French Quarter Parking

NOLA Poboys is located in the historic heart of the New Orleans French Quarter. Like most businesses in this historical district, we do not have a dedicated customer parking lot or on-site parking.

Street Parking Rules

Limited street parking is metered and highly competitive. Street meters are monitored and enforced by the city:

• Enforcement Hours: Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Sundays: Metered parking is free, but spaces are still subject to standard city parking rules and tow zones.
• Pay by Phone: You can pay via the city’s official parking app or at the street pay stations. Always check the nearest street signs for local parking restrictions, residential zones, and sweeping schedules.

Recommended Alternatives

If you want to avoid driving in the French Quarter, we recommend these options:

• Rideshare: Taking an Uber or Lyft directly to a drop-off point near Bourbon Street is the most hassle-free choice.
• Pre-booking: Use parking aggregator apps like SpotHero or SpotAngels to compare rates and reserve a garage space in advance.

If you prefer off-street parking, there are several public parking lots and garages within a short 5 to 10-minute walk of our restaurant:

• 1. 420 N Rampart St. Lot
  Distance: ~5 min walk (0.2 miles)
  Type: Open-air surface lot. Often bookable online through parking apps. Very convenient entry/exit from Rampart St.
• 2. 535 Chartres St. Garage
  Distance: ~5–8 min walk (0.3 miles)
  Type: Multi-level covered garage. Valet options are typically available. Located close to Jackson Square.
• 3. 211 Conti St. Lot
  Distance: ~7–9 min walk (0.4 miles)
  Type: Large public surface parking lot. Good option if you are coming from the river side of the Quarter.
• 4. 433 St Peter St. Lot
  Distance: ~7–10 min walk (0.4 miles)
  Type: Paid public surface lot located right in the heart of the Quarter, near Jackson Square and Decatur St.
